Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data The Million Dollar Pixels collects, why, who processes it for us, how long we keep it and how to ask for it to be deleted. Last updated 2026-11-01.
Who is responsible for your data?
Mohit Gupta, who runs The Million Dollar Pixels as an individual from Faridabad, Haryana, India (contact: hello@themilliondollarpixels.com), decides how the data collected through this website is used. Dodo Payments separately handles the data it collects as merchant of record (payments, verification, fraud prevention, tax and payment disputes) under its own privacy terms.
What do you collect, why, and for how long?
| Data | Why | Required? | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your email address and order details (area, price, dates, order number, payment reference) | Your receipt, managing your ad, refunds, tax and accounting records | Yes, to buy | As long as your ad runs, then as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years). The email of a pixel hold that was never paid for is deleted after 90 days |
| Your ad: logo, link, title, tagline, category, "For sale" price, and the history of changes | Showing your ad, link safety checks and handling reports | Yes, to show an ad | While your ad runs; its history up to 2 years after it ends, for disputes |
| Messages you send with the contact form | Replying to you | Only if you write | Not stored on the website: they go to our email inbox, and we delete them when no longer needed (at most 2 years) |
| Reports of ads, and your email if you choose to leave it | Reviewing possible rule breaks and telling you what we decided | Only if you report; email optional | Up to 2 years after we have reviewed the report |
| Scrambled (one-way) values made from your IP address and browser, used for rate limits, pixel holds, sign-in codes and reports. We still treat these as personal data | Stopping abuse and bots | Automatic | Rate limits: 2 days. Pixel holds and sign-in codes: 90 days. Reports: as above |
| Daily visit counts, made from a value that changes every day (no cookies) | Counting visitors | Automatic | Only the daily totals are used |
| Technical error reports (emails and order codes are removed first) | Finding and fixing bugs | Automatic | Up to 90 days |
Old records are deleted or emptied automatically every night when their time is up. We never see or store card details. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. We only send emails about your order and your ad, never marketing emails.
Who processes data for you?
| Service | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Dodo Payments | Payments, tax, receipts, refunds and chargebacks (merchant of record, under its own privacy terms) | USA, UK and India |
| Vercel | Runs the website | USA |
| Supabase | Database (orders and ads) | USA |
| Cloudflare | Domain, security, bot check (Turnstile), page statistics without cookies, storage of logos and the board picture, encrypted backups | Worldwide network |
| Resend | Sends emails (receipts, codes, notices) | USA |
| OpenAI | Automatic check of ad text and logos for harmful content | USA |
| Google Web Risk | Checks ad links for malware and phishing | USA |
| Sentry | Technical error reports | European Union (Germany) |
So your data may be processed outside India. We use these services under their standard data-protection terms. When you hold pixels, Cloudflare Turnstile checks in the background that you are a person, under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Cookies and browser storage
We use no tracking or advertising cookies. One small necessary cookie keeps your pixel hold and checkout working for a day; another keeps the owner signed in to the admin page. Your browser may also keep your order key for the current tab so you can come back to your order. Page statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies.
What are my rights?
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop using it, by emailing hello@themilliondollarpixels.com. We reply within one month. We delete what we can; records the law requires (tax, accounting, disputes, fraud) are kept for the periods above and then deleted. If you are not satisfied, contact our Grievance Officer (see Contact).
